Summer Tilda With Flags

Hiya
Today to share is probably my final Summer card...well beach card anyway. I think our English Summer has taken a nose dive at the moment and I keep seeing all the yummy new Christmas things coming out.

Saying that today is looking more promising :D
To share today is Summer Tilda with Flags. I  have to say she verrrry nearly went into the bin. Actually she did go in the bin!!!I messed up....
I had spent ages colouring her and I stupidly decided to spray her with a glimmer mist, but I went a little crazy and my ink ran!!!
Anyway after my little tantrum and cuppa I went back to her and it had dried and I actually liked it. Even though its blurry I think it looks a little more dreamy and old. Here you can see the glimmer, but Tilda is stood in the glistening and shimmer of the sun!!! hee hee
A few more homemade flowers. For this one I used Peony and Poinsettia.
Other DooHickeys are from the Summer DooHickey Club
I also used Tilda's Tag and the new Pink Dies Rounded Frames and Tags
and for the shape Go Kreate
Cheesecloth and Pearl Trim from the Ribbon Girls
Papers are Magnolia apart from the shell strip which is Maja Design

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday
Byeeee for now

Paper Roses

Hi There
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend so far.
Ive been having a little playtime today because the weather is soooo wet n windy!!

I have made this card for a fellow DT friend of mine
Ive used Tilda With Rose Basket from the Pink Lemonade Collection coloured with Distress ReInkers

Ive also got a little carried away with my rolled paper roses. I find making these so theraputic. Love them

Papers used are Riddersholm. One is from Tailgate Marked and the pink is from Chantilly Dawn. Such beautiful Papers to work with and worked perfect for the rolled roses.
Also around the image I highlighted a little with a gel roll White pen. This idea came from my amazing friend Elise

Dies used were Joycraft Oval and Filmstrip
Sizzix Butterflight
DooHickeys Tilda's Tag and Rose Leaf
Rolled Roses
Cheesecloth, Pearl Trim and Angel Prima Embellishment are from  the Ribbon Girls

I wish you all a wonderful week

A Box of Under Water Treasures

Hiyaaa
It'sssssssssssssss Fridayyyy Whooo!!!
Though I dont know why I wrote that as I still have work tomorrow!! Then just one more day to work and Im on holiday!!! Whoop Whoop!!!
Today to share is a project I made for the Magnolia DooHickey Summer Magazine issue 1
I never knew what was going to arrive and to create something in a few days is quite scary, especially if it is going to be published. Thankfully I loved them :D which helped alot. :D .It's when you dont like something and you have to create.....That's when I hit a brick wall, or at least I stare at one waiting for ideas to hit me hard!!!!
Taking a bath usually helps!
I sat Pearl Tilda on a flower I made using the Peony DooHickey and surrounded her with seaweed and more underwater foliage. The anchor I embossed with Aged Silver Frantage

I made another exploding box of  a Seaworld Scene

This is how it looked when closed. Its really really small.

Thankyou so much for visiting me

I wish you an AMAZING weekend
Hugs
